TL;DR: In this paper, a digital pulse analysis algorithm is presented to extract the spectroscopic information from the pile-up pulses with good accuracy, and validated with the α decay of 219Th and internal conversion electron decays of 210, 211 Ra isomers, all of which have ∼ μ s half-lives.

TL;DR: In this article, a new β-delayed neutron detection system working with the continuous beam mode has been built at Peking University and tested with radioactive ion beams, which has a high β coincident detection efficiency with much less disturbance from other unstable nuclei and the random background.
