Autoimmune cholangitis: a variant of primary biliary cirrhosis. Clinicopathologic and serologic correlations in 200 cases.
Zachary Goodman,Peter R. McNally,Peter R. McNally,Dirk R. Davis,Dirk R. Davis,Kamal G. Ishak,Kamal G. Ishak +6 more
TL;DR: Since the only consistently distinguishing feature among these patients is the autoantibody (AMA and ANA) profile, and they otherwise have virtually identical clinical and histopathologic features, autoimmune cholangitis can be considered to be the same as AMA-negative PBC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combination therapy with thymosin α1 and interferon for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C infection: A randomized, placebo-controlled double-blind trial
Kenneth E. Sherman,Maria H. Sjogren,Robin L. Creager,Melissa A. Damiano,Stephen R. Freeman,Scot Lewey,Dirk R. Davis,Spencer Root,Frederick L. Weber,Kamal G. Ishak,Zachary Goodman +10 more
TL;DR: The combination of TA1 and standard IFN treatment for chronic hepatitis C showed evidence of biological activity at the completion of treatment by biochemical, histological, and virological outcome measures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gluten-Sensitive Enteropathy in Patients with Insulin-Dependent Diabetes Mellitus
Michael J. Rensch,John A. Merenich,Michael Lieberman,Brian D. Long,Dirk R. Davis,Peter R. McNally +5 more
