TL;DR: Investigation of primary intracranial germ cell tumors found that alpha‐fetoprotein, human chorionic gonadotropin, and placental alkaline phosphatase were helpful, whereas carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and cytokeratin (CKER) were of little help in determining the diagnosis.
