The pre-Devonian tectonic patterns and evolution of South China

TL;DR: A newly formed northwest-dipping subduction zone during the Sinian-early Paleozoic time was situated on the Shangyu-Zhenghe-Dapu-Lufeng fractural zone to the southeast of the Northwest Fujian terrane as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crustal genesis and plate tectonics

TL;DR: In this article, the authors divided the granites in active continental margins of southeast China into two genetic series by present authors as follows: (1) S-type granitoids in the interior of the continental plate; and (2) I-types in the margin of the plate.

The Formation and Evolution of the Lujiang—Zongyang Volcano—Structural Depression in Anhui and Its Relation to Mineralization

TL;DR: In this article, a four-dimensional model of the formation and evolution of a typical volcano is presented, showing that the volcano's structural depression and its related mineralizalion in a transition belt from the active margins to the inner part of a plate under alternating shear compression and shear-extensional stress conditions.
