Environmental Factors Affecting Near-Surface Oxygen Content Vary in Typical Regions of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the relationship between altitude, vegetation (Net Primary Productivity, NPP; Leaf Area Index, LAI; Fractional Vegetation Cover, FVC; Length of the Growing Season, LOS and Vegetation Type), climate variables (Mean Monthly Temperature, MMT; Mean Monthly Precipitation, MMP and Wind Speed, WS), and near-surface oxygen content in five typical regions of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (QTP) in China, including the Qilian Mountains (QLM), the Three-River Headwater Area (THA), Ngari Prefecture (NAP), Hengduan Mountains (HDM), and Yajiang Valley (YJV).
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of Diffusion Cool Flames of Dimethyl Ether in a Counterflow Burner under a Wide Range of Pressures

TL;DR: In this paper , a diffusion cool flame has been established using a counterflow configuration under a wide range of pressures, and the extinction limits, flame temperatures, and combustion products have been measured and simulated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Preparation and performance of high flux bactericidal composite ultrafiltration membrane

TL;DR: A modified composite ultrafiltration membrane was prepared using polyethersulfone as a polymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone as pore-forming agent, N-N dimethylacetamide as a solvent, silver phosphate and polyhexamethylene biguanidine hydrochloride as antimicrobial agents as mentioned in this paper .
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Multiple Scattering Effects in Lidar and Its Potential Application for Water Cloud Detection

TL;DR: In this article, a semi-analytic Monte Carlo (MC) simulation program is developed for multiple scattering effects modeling in cloud lidar, and then MC simulations are performed for different lidar parameters (mainly different receiving field of view, FOV) with different cloud models and the simulation results are compared with the semianalytical/analytical models based on the quasi-small-angle (QSA) approximation.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A Standardized Aerosol Repository System for Knowledge Services and Crowdsourcing

TL;DR: A web-based Standardized Aerosol Repository System (SARS) was developed to facilitate relevant associated with atmospheric aerosols and crowdsourcing, a distributed problem solving mechanism was proposed that the users can submit formatted data to update and expand the repository.
