Orbital angular momentum complex spectrum analyzer for vortex light based on the rotational Doppler effect.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an OAM complex spectrum analyzer that enables simultaneous measurements of the power and phase distributions of OAM modes by employing the rotational Doppler effect.

Orbital angular momentum complex spectrum analyzer for vortex light based on rotational Doppler Effect

TL;DR: In this article, an OAM complex spectrum analyzer was proposed to measure the power and phase distribution of OAM modes simultaneously by employing rotational Doppler Effect (DoE).
Journal ArticleDOI

Theoretical analysis and experimental verification on optical rotational Doppler effect.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a theoretical model to sufficiently investigate the optical rotational Doppler effect based on modal expansion method and find that the frequency shift content is only determined by the surface of a spinning object and the reduced DoP shift is linear to the difference of mode index between input and output orbital angular momentum (OAM) light.
Journal ArticleDOI

Probing the topological charge of a vortex beam with dynamic angular double slits

TL;DR: A simple method is experimentally demonstrated to precisely and efficiently determine the topological charge of vortex beams through dynamic angular double slits, which allows for the simultaneous determination of the modulus and the sign of the topology charge of the vortex beams.
