Isolated vs. Interconnected Wind Turbine Grounding Systems: Effect on the Harmonic Grounding Impedance, Ground Potential Rise and Step Voltage

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present numerical simulations of the impedance of a typical wind turbine grounding geometry and show that the low frequency grounding impedance can be reduced by a factor of two or more as a result of interconnecting grounding systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analytical Model for Electromagnetic Radiation by Bare-Wire Structures

TL;DR: In this article, a simple analytical model to estimate the radiated fleld for broadband Power line communication (PLC) or metallic wire structures is presented. But the authors do not consider the case of multiple conductor power line.
Journal ArticleDOI

Transient analysis of the grounding electrode based on the wire antenna theory

TL;DR: In this paper, an end-driven monopole antenna horizontally buried in a lossy medium is modelled as a grounding electrode and the current distribution along the wire in frequency domain is governed by the half-space Pocklington integral equation.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Study on the Use of Compound and Extracted Models in the High Frequency Electromagnetic Exposure Assessment

TL;DR: In this paper, numerical results for the induced electric field in the various models of the human eye and the head are presented, and the comparison between the extracted or the single organ models and the compound organ models placed inside realistic head models obtained from magnetic resonance imaging scans is presented.
