Analysis and characterisation of phytochemicals in mulberry (Morus alba L.) fruits grown in Vojvodina, North Serbia
Maja Natić,Dragana Dabić,Adele Papetti,Milica Fotirić Akšić,Vladislav Ognjanov,Mirjana Ljubojević,Živoslav Lj. Tešić +6 more
TL;DR: The findings indicated that mulberry polyphenolics may act as potent superoxide anion radical scavengers and reducing agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phenolic profile and antioxidant activity of Serbian polyfloral honeys.
Uroš Gašić,Silvio Kečkeš,Dragana Dabić,Jelena Trifković,Dušanka Milojković-Opsenica,Maja Natić,Živoslav Lj. Tešić +6 more
TL;DR: A total of 58 polyfloral honey samples from different regions in Serbia were studied to determine their phenolic profile, total phenolic content and antioxidant capacity, and a good correlation was observed between total phenolics and radical-scavenging activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemical Composition of Two Different Extracts of Berries Harvested in Serbia
Aleksandra V. Pavlović,Dragana Dabić,Nebojša Momirović,Biljana Dojčinović,Dušanka Milojković-Opsenica,Živoslav Lj. Tešić,Maja Natić +6 more
TL;DR: It was found that acetone is a better extracting solvent for TPC, whereas more TAC was extracted by methanol, and the amounts of both free and total ellagic acid were found to be higher in the acetone extract in comparison to the meethanol extract.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of Phenolic Compounds from Seed Coats of Differently Colored European Varieties of Pea (Pisum sativum L.) and Characterization of Their Antioxidant and In Vitro Anticancer Activities
Nemanja Stanisavljević,Marija Ilić,Ivana Z. Matić,Živko Jovanović,Tihomir Čupić,Dragana Dabić,Maja Natić,Živoslav Lj. Tešić +7 more
TL;DR: Evidence is provided that seed coat extracts of dark colored pea varieties might be used as potential cancer-chemopreventive and complementary agents in cancer therapy and correlated with contents of epigallocatechin and luteolin.
Journal ArticleDOI
Physicochemical, Antioxidant and Sensory Properties of Peach Wine Made from Redhaven Cultivar
Sonja M. Davidović,Mile Veljović,Milica M. Pantelić,Rada Baošić,Maja Natić,Dragana Dabić,Sonja Pecic,Predrag Vukosavljević +7 more
TL;DR: The results of sensory analysis indicated that the peach wine was very well accepted by the regular consumers of wine and can be a very interesting product in the market.
