Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis and characterisation of phytochemicals in mulberry (Morus alba L.) fruits grown in Vojvodina, North Serbia
Maja Natić,Dragana Dabić,Adele Papetti,Milica Fotirić Akšić,Vladislav Ognjanov,Mirjana Ljubojević,Živoslav Lj. Tešić +6 more
TL;DR: The findings indicated that mulberry polyphenolics may act as potent superoxide anion radical scavengers and reducing agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
The determination of phenolic profiles of Serbian unifloral honeys using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography/high resolution accurate mass spectrometry.
Silvio Kečkeš,Uroš Gašić,Tanja Cirkovic Velickovic,Dušanka Milojković-Opsenica,Maja Natić,Živoslav Lj. Tešić +5 more
TL;DR: The LTQ OrbiTrap technique was proven to be reliable for the unambiguous detection of phenolic acids, their derivatives, and flavonoid aglycones based on their molecular masses and fragmentation pattern.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification and quantification of phenolic compounds in berry skin, pulp, and seeds in 13 grapevine varieties grown in Serbia.
Milica M. Pantelić,Dragana Dabić Zagorac,Sonja M. Davidović,Slavica Todic,Zoran Beslic,Uroš Gašić,Živoslav Lj. Tešić,Maja Natić +7 more
TL;DR: To the extent of the knowledge this is the first work that shows the presence of malvidin 3,5-O-dihexoside in the berry skin of 'Merlot', 'Cabernet Franc', 'Shiraz' 'Sangiovese', 'Pinot Noir' and 'Prokupac', untypical for Vitis vinifera Linneo species.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phenolic profile and antioxidant activity of Serbian polyfloral honeys.
Uroš Gašić,Silvio Kečkeš,Dragana Dabić,Jelena Trifković,Dušanka Milojković-Opsenica,Maja Natić,Živoslav Lj. Tešić +6 more
TL;DR: A total of 58 polyfloral honey samples from different regions in Serbia were studied to determine their phenolic profile, total phenolic content and antioxidant capacity, and a good correlation was observed between total phenolics and radical-scavenging activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Application of Pollen as a Functional Food and Feed Ingredient—The Present and Perspectives
Aleksandar Ž. Kostić,Danijel D. Milinčić,Miroljub B. Barać,Mohammad Ali Shariati,Živoslav Lj. Tešić,Mirjana B. Pešić +5 more
TL;DR: An overview of recent achievements in the application of pollen in the formulation of functional food and animal diets is given to give an overview of the positive effects of pollen nutrients and phytometabolites on human and animal health.
