Adoptive Transfer of Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocytes in Patients with Metastatic Melanoma: Intent-to-Treat Analysis and Efficacy after Failure to Prior Immunotherapies
Michal J. Besser,Ronnie Shapira-Frommer,Orit Itzhaki,Avraham J. Treves,Douglas Zippel,Daphna Levy,Adva Kubi,Noa Shoshani,Dragoslav Zikich,Yaara Ohayon,Daniel Ohayon,Bruria Shalmon,Gal Markel,Gal Markel,Ronit Yerushalmi,Sara Apter,Alon Ben-Nun,Eytan Ben-Ami,Avichai Shimoni,Arnon Nagler,Jacob Schachter +20 more
TL;DR: Adoptive transfer of TIL can yield durable and complete responses in patients with refractory melanoma, even when other immunotherapies have failed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Specific high-affinity binding of thiazole orange to triplex and G-quadruplex DNA.
TL;DR: It is suggested that TO staining may be useful for the detection of noncanonical structural motifs in genomic DNA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Establishment and large-scale expansion of minimally cultured young tumor infiltrating lymphocytes for adoptive transfer therapy
Orit Itzhaki,Einat Hovav,Yaara Ziporen,Daphna Levy,Adva Kubi,Dragoslav Zikich,Liat Hershkovitz,Avraham J. Treves,Bruria Shalmon,Douglas Zippel,Gal Markel,Ronnie Shapira-Frommer,Jacob Schachter,Michal J. Besser +13 more
TL;DR: An efficient and reliable method to generate Young-TIL for adoptive transfer therapy, which may easily be adopted by other cancer centers and can lead to objective responses in 50% of refractory melanoma patients is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Locally produced CD19 CAR T cells leading to clinical remissions in medullary and extramedullary relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Elad Jacoby,Elad Jacoby,Bella Bielorai,Bella Bielorai,Abraham Avigdor,Abraham Avigdor,Orit Itzhaki,Daphna Hutt,Vered Nussboim,Amilia Meir,Adva Kubi,Michal Levy,Dragoslav Zikich,Li at Zeltzer,Karin Brezinger,Jacob Schachter,Arnon Nagler,Arnon Nagler,Michal J. Besser,Michal J. Besser,Amos Toren,Amos Toren +21 more
TL;DR: Results from a phase 1b/2 study of in‐house produced CD19 CAR with a CD28 costimulatory domain show remarkable remission rates in relapsed and refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and patients with R/R EM ALL may also benefit from CAR‐T cell therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Assembling of G-strands into novel tetra-molecular parallel G4-DNA nanostructures using avidin–biotin recognition
Natalia Borovok,Natalie Iram,Dragoslav Zikich,Jamal Ghabboun,Gideon I. Livshits,Danny Porath,Alexander Kotlyar +6 more
TL;DR: The tetra-molecular G4-DNA nanostructures showed clear electrical polarizability, suggesting that they may be useful for molecular electronics.
