The effect of Nb2O5 dopant on the structural and magnetic properties of MnZn-ferrites
TL;DR: In this article, the role of Nb2O5 additions on the structural and electromagnetic properties of MnZn-ferrites has been investigated, and it was shown that at higher concentrations Nb 2O5 segregates at the grain boundaries, promotes grain growth and affects negatively the microstructure development.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of a New MnZn-Ferrite Soft Magnetic Material for High Temperature Power Applications
TL;DR: In this article, the inductive components that consist the heart of the power transformers are made of ceramic ferromagnetic materials of the type (Mnx ZnyFe 2+ ).
Journal ArticleDOI
Microwave firing of MnZn-ferrites
TL;DR: In this article, a comparison between microwave and conventional firing for MnZn-ferrites was made and it was shown that microwave firing results to higher densities and coarser microstructures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relation Between Firing Conditions Grain Boundary Structure and Magnetic Properties in Polycrystalline MnZn-Ferrites
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the firing conditions on the nanoscale structure of the grain boundaries and on the magnetic properties of polycrystalline MnZn-ferrites is investigated, on specimens of nearly identical microstructures.
Journal ArticleDOI
3D finite element modeling of selective laser melting for conduction, transition and keyhole modes
TL;DR: In this paper , a heat transfer model was combined with deformed geometry to simulate the material vaporization, depending on the volumetric energy density (VED), which is a major importance parameter in the keyhole formation.
