Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-start downhill simplex method for spatio-temporal source localization in magnetoencephalography.

TL;DR: A multi-start downhill simplex method is examined as a global minimization technique for fitting multidipole, spatio-temporal magnetoencephalography (MEG) data and offers more than one adequate solution thus providing a range of uncertainty for the estimated parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Retinotopic Organization of Human Visual Cortex: Departures from the Classical Model

TL;DR: The results suggest that the representation of the horizontal meridian does not necessarily correspond in a one-to-one manner with the base of the calcarine fissures and that some lower field stimuli can activate regions in the lower bank of the fissure.
Journal ArticleDOI

A neuromagnetic study of selective auditory attention.

TL;DR: Auditory event-related magnetic fields and electrical potentials were recorded from subjects who were instructed to attend to a sequence of constant pitch tones presented to one ear and ignore a concurrent sequence of tones with a different pitch presented to the other ear.
Journal ArticleDOI

The (t, p) reaction to the low-lying levels of the zirconium isotopes

TL;DR: In this paper, the (t, p) reaction on the isotopes 90,92,94,96 Zr has been carried out at a bombarding energy of 20 MeV, and the results indicate a trend for ground state excitations intermediate between simple shell model and pairing vibration theory.
