Vibration analysis of orthotropic triangular nanoplates using nonlocal elasticity theory and galerkin method

TL;DR: In this paper, the plate theory is reformulated using the nonlocal differential constitutive relations of Eringen to develop an equivalent continuum model for orthotropic triangular nanoplates, and the equations of motion are derived and the Galerkin approach in conjunction with the area coordinates is used as a basis for the solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of mistuning on dynamic behavior of nonlinear cyclic systems with lump masses and cubic nonlinearity

TL;DR: In this paper, a nonlinear, mistuned model based on the method of multiple scales is proposed and formulated in which nonlinearity and mistuning parameter is assumed to be in low order.

Nonlocal Effect on Buckling of Triangular Nano-composite Plates

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of non-local parameters on the buckling of a triangular nano-composite plate under uniform in-plane compression was investigated, especially at very small dimensions, small aspect ratios, higher mode numbers, stiffer edge supports and softer elastic mediums.
