Journal ArticleDOI

In vitro cell-mediated immune responses to the male specific(H-Y) antigen in mice.

TL;DR: It is concluded that secondary in vitro cytotoxic responses against the H-Y antigen are mediated by cytot toxic T lymphocytes, and that theH-Y target cell antigen may be specified by the H -2 complex.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of allogeneic presensitization on h-y graft survival and in vitro cell-mediated responses to h-y antigen

TL;DR: It seems unlikely that a helper determinant shared between B10 and CBA is sufficient to explain the ability of CBA male cells to prime H-2-restricted T-cell cytotoxic responses by B10 females, but at least some component of H-Y is detected by female responder cells on allogeneic male cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cytotoxic T-cell responses to H-Y: mapping of the Ir genes.

TL;DR: The dominant gene and some of the complementary genes are mapped and it is shown that in H-2k/H-2d complementation, the Ir genes are in ICk and ICd, and at least the H- 2k gene is in IC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cytotoxic T-cell responses to H-Y: correlation with the rejection of syngeneic male skin grafts.

TL;DR: It seems that H-2-retricted anti-H-Y cytotoxic T cells are not responsible for the rejection of syngeneic male skin grafts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selective response to H-Y antigen by F1 female mice sensitized to F1 male cells.

TL;DR: It is suggested that this may represent an effect of immune response or suppressor genes mapping in the major histocompatibility gene complex which regulate responsiveness to H-Y antigen.
