Journal ArticleDOI

Photochemical, electrochemical, and chemical formation of the .pi.-cation-radical species of magnesium phthalocyanine. Analysis of the absorption and MCD spectra of [MgPc(-1)].bul.+

TL;DR: In this article, the first low-temperature absorption and magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectra of (MgPc(minus}1)){sup {center dot}+} were reported, under which conditions it was shown that the cation radical species dimerizes completely.
Journal ArticleDOI

Absorption and magnetic circular dichroism spectra of nitrogen homologues of magnesium and zinc phthalocyanine

TL;DR: In this article, absorption and magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectra were reported for metallophthalocyanine-N-isologs: magnesium-3,4-pyridinoporphrazine (MgPcN4(−2)), zinc-3.4-polymorphine (ZnPcn4(n)) and ZnPn(n)
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of the Absorption and Magnetic Circular-Dichroism Spectra of Iron(II) Phthalocyanine

TL;DR: In this paper, the absorption and magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectra recorded between room temperature and 50 K were reported for a range of iron(II) phthalocyanine complexes, with axial ligands of imidazole, N-methylimidazoles, pyridine, methylpyridine and piperidine, ammonia, cyanide and carbon monoxide.
