Reservoir area pipe sand-discharging system

TL;DR: In this paper, a reservoir area pipeline sediment ejection system which adopts the reservoir natural water head as the power resource, lays pipelines in the reservoir water near the dam section and ejects the sediment in front of the dam out of the reservoir.

Mud suction concentration control apparatus for reservoir self-suction type sediment ejection pipe suction head

TL;DR: In this paper, the utility model relates to a mud suction concentration control device of a reservoir self-suction type sand draining pipeline mud head used on a sludge removing pipeline system in a reservoir area.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrashort-term responses of riparian vegetation restoration to adjacent cycles of ecological water conveyance scheduling in a hyperarid endorheic river basin.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explored the spatiotemporal differentiation in species structure (herbs, shrubs, and trees), diversity (measured by the Simpson, Shannon-Wiener, Pielou, and Margalef indices), stability (evaluated via Godron fitting distances and abundance-biomass comparison curves), and integrity (proxied by the vegetation-based index of biotic integrity) of vegetation communities in the downstream Heihe River Basin, China.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental study and a physical model on the geomorphic response mechanisms of meandering rivers under progressive sediment reduction

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the evolution mechanism of different topographic types of meandering rivers under the condition of decreasing sediment inflow and found that the sediment concentration of the convex bank flow with a large degree of curvature of the bend is lower than that of the concave bank flow.
