Quantum particle displacement by a moving localized potential trap

Er'el Granot, +1 more
- 01 Apr 2009 -
TL;DR: In this article, the dynamics of a bound state of an attractive δ-well under displacement of the potential were described and exact analytical results for the suddenly moved potential were presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fundamental dispersion limit for spectrally bounded On-Off-Keying communication channels and its implications to Quantum Mechanics and the Paraxial Approximation

Er'el Granot
- 01 Nov 2012 -
TL;DR: In this article, the fundamental dispersion limit for an optical communication based on On-Off-Keying format is calculated. But this limit is not applicable to the optical Paraxial Approximation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Universal potential-barrier penetration by initially confined wave packets

Er'el Granot, +1 more
- 17 Jul 2007 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the dynamics of an initially sharp-boundary wave packet in the presence of an arbitrary potential barrier is investigated and it is shown that the penetration through the barrier is universal in the sense that it depends only on the values of the wave function and its derivatives at the boundary.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ballistic imaging of biological media with collimated illumination and focal plane detection

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple, affordable method for imaging through biological tissue is investigated, which consists of imaging with a wavelength that has a relatively small scattering coefficient (1310 nm) and collimated illumination together with focal plane detection to enhance the detection of the ballistic photons relative to the diffusive light.

Method and apparatus for generating optical signals

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for processing an amplitude modulated (AM) optical beam amplitude with a modulation pattern having an extinction ratio (ER), having a carrier frequency and a carrier amplitude amplitude, is presented.
