Journal ArticleDOI
Hybrid ensemble intelligent model based on wavelet transform, swarm intelligence and artificial neural network for electricity demand forecasting
TL;DR: The statistical analysis revealed that the proposed DWT-PSO-RBFNN method performed better based on MAPE, MAD, and RMSE emphasizing its great potential.
Journal ArticleDOI
A hybrid chaotic-based discrete wavelet transform and Aquila optimisation tuned-artificial neural network approach for wind speed prediction
TL;DR: In this article , the authors proposed a new hybrid model to predict wind speed using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Phase Space Reconstruction (PSR) of chaos theory, Aquila Optimization Algorithm (AOA), and Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN).
Journal ArticleDOI
A New Long-Term Photovoltaic Power Forecasting Model Based on Stacking Generalization Methodology
TL;DR: The proposed stacked generalization method showed superiority over the four standalone state-of-the-art methods when tested with real data using performance indicators such as Bayesian information criteria (BIC), percent mean average relative error (PMARE), Legates and McCabe index (LM), mean absolute error, and root mean square error.
