Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-residue monitoring for the simultaneous determination of five nitrofurans (furazolidone, furaltadone, nitrofurazone, nitrofurantoine, nifursol) in poultry muscle tissue through the detection of their five major metabolites (AOZ, AMOZ, SEM, AHD, DNSAH) by liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray tandem mass spectrometry--in-house validation in line with Commission Decision 657/2002/EC.

TL;DR: Improvements and the revalidation of the analytical method by liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray tandem mass spectrometry already in use in the laboratory for monitoring nitrofuran metabolites are displayed, including the nifursol metabolite at the confirmatory minimum required performance level (MRPL) of 1 microg kg(-1).
Journal ArticleDOI

Validation of a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry screening method to monitor 58 antibiotics in milk: a qualitative approach.

TL;DR: The results of the validation clearly demonstrate the suitability of this method for the detection and identification of more than 50 antibiotics and they are in agreement with the results obtained in routine analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multiresidue method for simultaneous determination of ten quinolone antibacterial residues in multimatrix/multispecies animal tissues by liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection: single laboratory validation study.

TL;DR: A method was developed for screening and confirming 10 quinolone residues in a wide variety of matrixes of different animal species and the limit of performance of the method in terms of CCalpha and CCbeta has been calculated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Validation of a multi-residue liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry confirmatory method for 10 anticoccidials in eggs according to Commission Decision 2002/657/EC.

TL;DR: A liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric method for the simultaneous detection and confirmation of halofuginone, robenidine, diclazuril, nicarbazin, monensin, narasin, lasalocid, salinomycin, maduramicin and semduramic in whole egg has been developed and validated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Confirmation of 13 sulfonamides in honey by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry for monitoring plans: validation according to European Union Decision 2002/657/EC.

TL;DR: The validation results proved that the method is suitable for the screening and confirmatory steps as implemented for the French monitoring residue plan for sulfonamides residue control in honeybees.
