TL;DR: Evaluated outcomes and toxicities associated with use of IORT in the treatment of metastatic PDAC with locally advanced/ borderline resectable PDAC who received neoadjuvant treatment with chemotherapy and/or chemoradiotherapy followed by surgical exploration in an IORT-equipped operating suite between 2010-2015.

TL;DR: MET-amplified EGC represents a distinct clinical entity characterized by rapid progression and short survival and is a valuable addition to the literature and of great interest to the readership of The Oncologist.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adjuvant therapy for gastric cancers: more answers or more questions?
Theodore S. Hong,Eunice L. Kwak +1 more
TL;DR: In this dataset of patients treated in the United States, the authors conclude, after propensity score matching, that patients receiving chemoradiation have improved overall survival compared with patients receiving chemotherapy only, which highlights the uncertainty that exists as to whether radiation is needed in the management of gastric cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical correlation with codon-specific mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer.
Sophia C. Kamran,Jeffrey W. Clark,Darrell R. Borger,Jackie Szymonifka,Eunice L. Kwak,Lawrence S. Blaszkowsky,Janet E. Murphy,Lipika Goyal,Jill N. Allen,Jennifer Y. Wo,Andrew X. Zhu,A. John Iafrate,Ryan B. Corcoran,David P. Ryan,Theodore S. Hong +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Mutational status in colorectal cancer (CRC) impacts response to EGFR inhibition, prognosis, and may affect response to chemoradiation.
