Patent
Field mapping fixture for a superconducting magnet for imaging human limbs
TL;DR: A field mapping fixture for mapping the magnetic fields of a superconducting magnet is described in this paper, which is capable of measuring the magnetic field of a relatively small imaging volume.
Patent
Warm bore cylinder assembly of cryostat
Jean-Baptiste Mathieu,Evangelos Trifon Laskaris,Kenneth William Rohling,Minfeng Xu,Seung-Kyun Lee +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, a warm bore cylinder assembly (300, figure 3) having an outer wall 150, an inner wall 152, and a plurality of braces 154, is provided, particularly for application with a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system.
Patent
Vacuum seal for high speed generator
TL;DR: In this paper, a vacuum seal assembly for a high power generator stub shaft is presented, which includes a seal stator encircling the stub shaft and a plurality of oil seals.
Patent
Method and apparatus for magnetizing permanent magnet
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a method of making a magnetizing coil unit, which consists of a solenoid coil having a coiled copper sheet in which the width of the copper sheet is equal to the height of the coil.
Patent
Magnet assembly and method of manufacturing the same
TL;DR: In this paper, an improved superconducting magnet assembly and methods for making the same to reduce eddy current in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems are presented. But the superconducted magnet assembly does not include a magnetic lamination element disposed on the iron shield to reduce the eddy currents induced by the gradient magnetic field.
