Head Turning and Face-Down Positioning in Prone-Sleeping Premature Infants
TL;DR: Prematurely born infants, known to be at increased risk of SIDS, rarely assume face-down positions when sleeping prone at approximately 40 weeks' postconceptional age, and results suggest that head turning during sleep is developmentally regulated and may have relevance to understanding the age distribution of Sids.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: QOL of children with obesity and SDB is lower than in children with Obesity or SDB alone or healthy children, and parents reported significant improvements in total PedsQL and social functioning scores.

TL;DR: Consumption of higher-fat cow's milk was associated with a small increase in non- HDL cholesterol but not greater odds of having high non-HDL cholesterol, and further research is needed to assess this relationship with other CVD risk factors in young children.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the relationship between the timing of infant cereal introduction between 4 and 6 months of age and growth and dietary intake in later childhood and found that children who were introduced to infant cereal at 4 vs 6 months had greater nutrition risk which was primarily determined by a less favorable eating behavior score at 18 months to 5 years of age.
