Stress-Induced Shifts of First-Order Raman Frequencies of Diamond- and Zinc-Blende-Type Semiconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of large static uniaxial stress along [001, [111], and [110] on the frequency of the optical phonons in Ge, GaAs, GaSb, InAs, and ZnSe using first-order Raman scattering were reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoreflectance and electroreflectance in silicon

TL;DR: The photoreflectance spectrum of the 3.4 eV peak of a silicon surface shows a dependence on the polarization of the probing light analogous to that found for the electroreflectance spectrum as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Seasonal Efficiency of a Brine-to-Water Heat Pump with Different Control Options according to Ecodesign Standards

TL;DR: In this article , the seasonal performance of a domestic brine-to-water heat pump for low-temperature applications is evaluated based on experimental results, and the impact on the seasonal coefficient of performance of using some technology options such as fixed or variable speed compressors, and variable outlet temperature operation is evaluated.
