Journal ArticleDOI

Co(III), Ni(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes with 2-acetyl-2-thiazoline thiosemicarbazone: Synthesis, characterization, X-ray structures and antibacterial activity.

TL;DR: The antibacterial activity of the ligand and complexes 2-6 against some representative bacteria and Cd(II) complexes were more active against Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphyllococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis than organic ligand.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coordination behaviour of Schiff base 2-acetyl-2-thiazoline hydrazone (ATH) towards cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II)

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and characterization of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II)-complexes of 2-acetyl-2-thiazoline hydrazone (ATH) are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural characterization of a thiazoline-pyrazole ligand and its complexes with cobalt(II) and copper(II)

TL;DR: The structural characterization of 2-(pyrazol-1-yl)-2-thiazoline (PyTn) is reported in this paper, where a distorted octahedron with the metallic atom coordinated to two thiazoline nitrogen atoms is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal Structure and Magnetic Exchange in the Single Chloride‐Bridged Copper(II) Chain Compound [CuCl2(TzHy)] [TzHy = (4,5‐dihydro‐1,3‐thiazol‐2‐yl)hydrazine]

TL;DR: In this paper, the copper complex [CuCl2(TzHy)] has been synthesized and its crystal structure determined, which is best described as distorted square pyramidal.
