Biogas Upgrading via Cyclic CO2 Adsorption: Application of Highly Regenerable PEI@nano-Al2O3 Adsorbents with Anti-Urea Properties.

TL;DR: In this paper, a facile and efficient synthesis route involving the synthesis of nano-Al2O3 support derived from coal fly ash with a CO2 flow as the precipitant and the preparation of polyethylenimine (PEI)-impregnated Al 2O3-supported adsorbent was demonstrated, which can avoid active amine content dilution from PEI chemical modification.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly efficient and stable PEI@Al2O3 adsorbents derived from coal fly ash for biogas upgrading

TL;DR: In this paper, the recycling of porous nano-Al2O3 support from coal fly ash (CFA) and the impregnation of PEI onto the nano-al 2 O3 support with large pore volume was proposed to enhance both the CO2 adsorption capacity and the cyclic stability of amine functional adsorbents.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient one-pot synthesis of ethyl levulinate from carbohydrates catalyzed by Wells-Dawson heteropolyacid supported on Ce–Si pillared montmorillonite

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the Wells-Dawson tungstophosphoric acid (H6P2W18O64, DPW) as a multifunctional catalyst for the direct production of ethyl levulinate (EL) from various biomass-derived sugars.
