The emerging possibility of the use of geniposide in the treatment of cerebral diseases: a review.
Wenwen Zhang,Fangling Zhang,Qichao Hu,Xiaolin Xiao,Linbo Ou,Yuan Chen,Shiqing Luo,Yonghong Cheng,Yinxiao Jiang,Xiao Ma,Yanling Zhao +10 more
TL;DR: Geniposide has been shown to significantly reduce the area of cerebral infarction and alleviate neuronal damage and necrosis mainly by inhibiting inflammatory signals, including NLRP3, TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quercetin Protects Ethanol-Induced Hepatocyte Pyroptosis via Scavenging Mitochondrial ROS and Promoting PGC-1α-Regulated Mitochondrial Homeostasis in L02 Cells
TL;DR: The results indicated that quercetin protected ethanol-induced hepatocyte pyroptosis via scavenging mitROS and promoting PGC-1α-mediated mitochondrial homeostasis in L02 cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Therapeutic Opportunities of GPBAR1 in Cholestatic Diseases
Fangling Zhang,Xiaolin Xiao,Yong Li,He Qi Wu,Xinyu Deng,Yinxiao Jiang,Wenwen Zhang,Jian Wang,Xiao Ma,Yanling Zhao +9 more
TL;DR: During disease treatment, simultaneous activation of GPBAR1 and FXR receptors often results in improved outcomes, and this strategy may become a crucial direction in the development of bile acid-activated receptors in the future.

Paeoniflorin Protects against Acetaminophen-Induced Liver Injury in Mice via JNK Signaling Pathway
Xinyu Deng,Yubing Li,Xing Li,Zhen-Ping Zhang,Shuang-Hua Dai,Hezhen Wu,Fangling Zhang,Qichao Hu,Yuan Chen,Jinhao Zeng,Xiao Ma +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the preventive and therapeutic effects and mechanisms of Paeoniflorin (PF) on APAP-induced liver injury were explored and it was found that PF has a downregulating effect on the apoptotic reaction and could inhibit the protein expression of CYP2E1/JNK signaling, which in turn reduced the damage of APAP.
