NOX emissions of compression ignition engines fueled with various biodiesel blends: A review

TL;DR: In this article, the potential of different fuels as an additive in biodiesel fuel in correspond to reduce NOX emissions was reviewed and it was shown that the reduction in NOX can be achieved by the use of most fuels in blending with biodiesel under all engine operating conditions, if only the proper injection parameters and blending proportions of fuels are set.
Journal Article

Biomechanical Effects of Platform Switching in Two Different Implant Systems: A Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis

TL;DR: In both implant systems, platform switching design reduced the stress concentration in the crestal bone and shifted it towards the area of implant-abutment interface, which resulted in higher intensity and greater distribution of stress than axial loading in both cortical bone and implant- abutment- interface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Finite element analysis of stress distribution around a dental implant with different amounts of bone loss: An in vitro study.

TL;DR: The results suggest that in terms of stress distribution, it is better to reduce the bone height and insert shorter implant with a greater diameter than longer implants with a smaller diameter.
Journal Article

An Investigation of Three types of Tooth Implant Supported Fixed Prosthesis Designs with 3D Finite Element Analysis.

TL;DR: There is no difference in using a rigid connector, non rigid connector in the distal surface of the tooth or in the mesial surface of an implant, using three dimensional finite element analysis (3D FEA).
Journal Article

Comparison of the skeletal and dental changes of tooth-borne vs. bone-borne expansion devices in surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion: A finite element study.

TL;DR: The results of this study showed that screw position affects the stress and displacement pattern within the nasomaxillary complex and maxillary dental arch, and closer teeth feel more stress and undergo more displacement than the farther ones.
