Journal ArticleDOI

A novel electrode material for symmetrical SOFCs.

TL;DR: A redox stable cathode is also expected to enhance the cathode durability since its application leads to a number of advantages and could be potentially eliminated by oper-ating the anode as a cathode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sr2Fe1.5Mo0.5O6 as Cathodes for Intermediate-Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells with La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.87Mg0.13O3 Electrolyte

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of SFMO as a cathode material has been investigated for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells with LSGM electrolyte, showing that it has good electrochemical activity for oxygen reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical characteristics of solid oxide fuel cell cathodes prepared by infiltrating (La,Sr)MnO3 nanoparticles into yttria-stabilized bismuth oxide backbones

TL;DR: In this paper, the electrochemical characteristics of the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) cathodes prepared by infiltration of (La 0.85 Sr 0.15 ) 0.9 MnO 3-δ (LSM) nanoparticles into porous Y 0.5 Bi 1.5 O 3 (YSB) backbones were investigated in terms of overpotential, interfacial polarization resistance, and single cell performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of BaIn0.3−xYxCe0.7O3−δ (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) proton conductors

TL;DR: In this article, the morphological and electrical properties of yttrium and indium doped barium cerate perovskites of the form BaIn0.3−xYxCe0.7O3−δ were investigated as potential high temperature proton conductors with improved chemical stability and conductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel nano-network cathodes for solid oxide fuel cells

TL;DR: In this article, a nano-network of Sm 05 Sr 05 CoO 3−δ (SSC) is successfully fabricated as the cathodes for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) operated at 500-600°C.
