Banu Eriş Gülbay,Özlem Ural Gürkan,Oznur Akkoca Yildiz,Zeynep Pınar Önen,Ferda Öner Erkekol,Ayşe Baççıoğlu,Turan Acican +6 more
TL;DR: It must be remembered that severe side effects associated with anti-TB drugs were encountered with different frequencies especially among patients hospitalized for pulmonary tuberculosis, and these patients should be followed up by closer monitoring for side effects related to anti- TB drugs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lipoxin A4 levels in asthma: relation with disease severity and aspirin sensitivity
TL;DR: It is currently not clear whether the asthma severity or the presence of AERD has a primary role in the disturbed LX metabolism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sensitization to Alternaria and Cladosporium in patients with respiratory allergy and outdoor counts of mold spores in Ankara atmosphere, Turkey.
Sevim Bavbek,Ferda Öner Erkekol,Talip Çeter,Dilssad Mungan,Faruk Özer,Münevver Pinar,Zeynep Misirligil +6 more
TL;DR: The data indicate that commercial mold extracts should be standardized to establish the real sensitization rates of Cladosporium and Alternaria in respiratory allergy patients; however, long-term follow-up studies are needed to evaluate the relationship between the mold load and sensitization patterns.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prevalence of aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease in patients with asthma in Turkey: A cross-sectional survey
Sevim Bavbek,İnsu Yılmaz,Gülfem Çelik,Ömür Aydın,Ferda Öner Erkekol,A. Orman,Emel Kurt,Dane Ediger,B. Dursun,O. Abadoglu,Ferhan Özşeker,Esen Akkaya,G.P. Karakış,S. Canbakan,Selcen Yüksel,Zeynep Misirligil +15 more
