Journal ArticleDOI
Angiographic anatomy of the inferior right atrial isthmus in patients with and without history of common atrial flutter.
José Angel Cabrera,Damián Sánchez-Quintana,Siew Yen Ho,Alfonso Medina,Fernando Wangüemert,Egon Gross,José Grillo,Enrique Hernández,Robert H. Anderson +8 more
TL;DR: The inferior isthmus and right atrium in patients with common atrial flutter were significantly larger than those in a control population.
Journal ArticleDOI
In-Laboratory Removal of Femoral Sheath Following Protamine Administration in Patients Having Intracoronary Stent Implantation
Manuel Pan,José Suárez de Lezo,Alfonso Medina,Miguel Romero,Enrique Hernández,José Segura,Francisco Melián,Fernando Wangüemert,Manuel Landin,Fernando Benítez,Manuel Amat,Francisco Velasco,Antonio Torres +12 more
TL;DR: Protamine use for neutralizing circulating heparin may be safely administered immediately after stent implantation because the hospital stay after treatment was shorter in patients receiving protamine.
Journal ArticleDOI
Obliteration of Femoral Pseudoaneurysm Complicating Coronary Intervention by Direct Puncture and Permanent or Removable Coil Insertion
Manuel Pan,Alfonso Medina,José Suárez de Lezo,Miguel Romero,Enrique Hernández,José Segura,Francisco Melián,Fernando Wangüemert,Manuel Landin,Fernando Benítez,Manuel Amat +10 more
TL;DR: The findings suggest that permanent or transient direct coil insertion may be an useful alternative in the treatment of pseudoaneurysm in patients who do not respond to mechanical compression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Predictors of restenosis following unprotected left main coronary stenting.
José Suárez de Lezo,Alfonso Medina,Miguel Romero,Enrique Hernández,Manuel Pan,Antonio Delgado,José Segura,Djordje Pavlovic,Fernando Wangüemert +8 more
TL;DR: Thrombosuction using the Rescue PT catheter is safe and effective in patients with a fresh thrombus of ,10 hours old in native coronary arteries as well as in older venous bypass grafts and material embolized during passage of the guidewire or after balloon angioplasty could be successfully removed from distal vessels.
