Journal ArticleDOI
Development of the suzuki-miyaura cross-coupling reaction: use of air-stable potassium alkynyltrifluoroborates in aryl alkynylations.
TL;DR: The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of potassium alkynyltrifluoroborates with aryl halides or triflates proceeds readily with moderate to excellent yields, which will provide an advantage in applications to combinatorial chemistry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved reactivity of diiodosamarium by catalysis with transition metal salts
Journal ArticleDOI
Samarium diiodide/nickel diiodide an efficient system for homo and heterocoupling reactions of imines
Fouzia Machrouhi,Jean-Louis Namy +1 more
TL;DR: In the presence of a catalytic amount of nickel diiodide mediates a very fast dimerization of imines into vicinal diamines and the mixed coupling of imine and ketones to give β-amino alcohols.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nucleophilic acylation of esters by acid chlorides mediated by samarium diiodide: Formation and use of samarium enediolates
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that acid chlorides react with esters in the presence of samarium diiodide and catalytic amounts of NiI 2 to afford samarium enediolates which can further react with electrophiles such as water or aldehydes to give respectively α-ketols or α-dihydroxyketones.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sequenced reactions with samarium(ii) iodide. a complementary annulation process providing access to seven-, eight-, and nine-membered carbocycles
TL;DR: In this paper, an efficient one-pot annulation reaction between ω-iodo esters and 2-(ω-chloroalkyl)cycloalkanones was proposed.
