Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal Structures of a Series of Complexes Produced by Reaction of Copper(I) Cyanide with Diamines.

TL;DR: A new synthetic procedure developed recently in the laboratories has made possible the synthesis of variety of new complexes of CuCN with diamines, providing an alternative pathway to a novel diamine complex reported by us previously, (CuCN)(3)(HMTA)(2) (1).
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal Structures of a Family of New Copper(I) Cyanide Complexes of Thiourea and Substituted Thioureas.

TL;DR: The syntheses and crystal structures of the first cyanide, sulfur mixed ligand copper(I) complexes are reported and the difference between the polymorphs is that 5 has a zig-zag chain with a repeat unit of two while 6 has a 4-fold helix.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structure of a novel copper(I) cyanide complex with hexamethylenetetramine, (CuCn)3(C6H12N4)2

TL;DR: The crystal structure of (CuCN) 3 (C 6 H 12 N 4 ) 2 consists of infinite chains of alternating copper(I) and CN which are bound into infinite sheets by hexamethylenetetramine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Copper(II) Complexes of Histamine and Cysteine Produced by Thiosulfate-Assisted Synthesis Using Copper(I) Cyanide. The in Situ Formation of the Thiocyanate Anion and the 2-Amino-2-thiazoline-4-carboxylic Acid Ligand

TL;DR: The reaction of both histamine (hista) and cysteine (cys) with aqueous CuCN/S2O32-produced Cu(II) ion is described in this paper.
