Abstract: The invention relates to a high-pressure radial piston pump for the fuel supply of an internal combustion engine, comprising a housing (1) having a drive shaft (2) that is accommodated therein, rotates about an axis and has a cam or eccentric disk (3) projecting in the radial direction by means of which multiple pistons (5) accommodated in cylinders (4) are engaged, which can be successively displaced in the radial direction by the cam or eccentric disk (3), wherein the housing (1) is equipped with a mounting flange for mounting the same to the internal combustion engine, wherein the cylinders (4) are connected via fuel lines, which are proportionately accommodated in the housing (1). The mounting flange (6) and the housing (1) are formed by separate parts. A low-pressure unit (7) is attached to the side of the housing (1) facing away from the mounting flange (6), wherein the mounting flange (6) and the low-pressure unit (7) are connected to the housing such that they can rotate relative to each other and to the housing (1) and together with the housing (1) limit annular channels (8) which concentrically surround the drive shaft (2), and wherein the fuel lines comprise lines that are proportionately formed by means of the annular channels (8).

TL;DR: In this article, a pump has a drive shaft mounted in a pump housing and a piston is moved back and forth by turning the drive shaft in an element hole (11) in a radial direction.
Abstract: The pump has a drive shaft (2) mounted in a pump housing (1). A piston (8) is moved back and forth by turning the drive shaft in an element hole (11) in a radial direction. A plunger (23) is guided into the pump housing and arranged between the piston and the drive shaft. A recess (27) for receiving a roller (28) is provided at an end of the plunger turned towards the drive shaft. The roller is guided into a guide body (26) through bulges at lateral front sides of the roller. The guide body has a borehole or an elongated hole along a center axis of the roller.

TL;DR: In this paper, a pump with a high-pressure counterbore is described, where counter-pressure to adjacent fuel pressure causes release of the housing part, and the counter-bore can be replaced by an annular shoulder.
Abstract: The pump has a high-pressure bore (1) limited by an internal wall surface of a housing part (3). The high-pressure bore includes two grooves or a counterbore extending over a circumferential region of the internal wall surface, where the counterbore is provided in the form of a borehole. Another high-pressure bore (2) is limited by another internal wall surface of the housing part, and has a counterbore for forming an annular shoulder. The counterbore of the latter high-pressure bore causes counter-pressure to adjacent fuel pressure, and causes release of the housing part.
