A broad-range high-transmission electron spectrometer

TL;DR: In this article, a broad-range electron spectrometer was developed to study internal conversion electrons from the deexcitation of levels populated by Coulomb excitation, and a solenoidal magnetic field configuration was used to transport the electrons away from the target and focus them onto a cooled semiconductor detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two methods for the fabrication of self-supporting osmium targets☆

TL;DR: In this paper, two methods for the fabrication of self-supporting isotopically enriched targets of osmium suitable for use in nuclear reaction and scattering experiments are described, one leading to thin targets of 2, the other to targets of many mg/cm 2.
