Journal ArticleDOI

Structure of hen egg-white lysozyme. A three-dimensional Fourier synthesis at 2 Angstrom resolution.

TL;DR: Structure of Hen Egg-White Lysozyme: A Three-dimensional Fourier Synthesis at 2 A Resolution as mentioned in this paper, 3D Fourier synthesis at 2 a resolution.
Book ChapterDOI

How the structure of lysozyme was actually determined

TL;DR: The first protein structure to be solved by X-ray diffraction methods was Lysozyme as discussed by the authors, which was published in 1965 and led to an explanation of the catalytic function of the enzyme and gave a vision of the explanatory power of structure for biological function.
