Detecting gravitational waves from cosmological phase transitions with LISA: an update
Chiara Caprini,Mikael Chala,Mikael Chala,G. C. Dorsch,G. C. Dorsch,Mark Hindmarsh,Mark Hindmarsh,Stephan J. Huber,Thomas Konstandin,Jonathan Kozaczuk,Jonathan Kozaczuk,Jonathan Kozaczuk,Germano Nardini,Jose Miguel No,Jose Miguel No,Kari Rummukainen,Pedro Schwaller,Geraldine Servant,Anders Tranberg,David J. Weir,David J. Weir +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the potential for observing gravitational waves from cosmological phase transitions with LISA was investigated, based on current state-of-the-art simulations of sound waves in the cosmic fluid after the phase transition completes.

Journal ArticleDOI
A strong electroweak phase transition in the 2HDM after LHC8
TL;DR: In this article, a scan over an extensive region of their parameter space is performed, showing that a strongly first-order phase transition favours a light neutral scalar with SM-like properties, together with a heavy pseudo-scalar and a mass hierarchy in the scalar sector.
Journal ArticleDOI
A second Higgs doublet in the early universe: baryogenesis and gravitational waves
TL;DR: In this article, simple Two Higgs Doublet models might still provide a viable explanation for the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe via electroweak baryogenesis, even after taking into account the recent order-of-magnitude improvement on the electron-EDM experimental bound by the ACME Collaboration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Echoes of the electroweak phase transition: discovering a second Higgs doublet through A0→ZH0.
TL;DR: The spectrum and properties of the new scalars H0, A0, and H(±) that signal such a phase transition are obtained and it is shown that the observation of the decay A0→ZH0 at LHC would be a "smoking gun" signature of these scenarios.
