Spectroscopic properties and design of highly luminescent lanthanide coordination complexes
G.F. de Sá,Oscar L. Malta,C. de Mello Donegá,Alfredo M. Simas,Ricardo L. Longo,P.A. Santa-Cruz,E. F. da Silva +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the development of efficient light conversion molecular devices (LCMDs) based on lanthanide complexes is reviewed, with emphasis on the work of our group, who have adopted a strategy based upon both theoretical and experimental (synthesis and methodological) investigations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fluorescence enhancement induced by the presence of small silver particles in Eu3+ doped materials
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of small silver particles on the emission spectrum of Eu3+ doped materials was studied and a theoretical analysis based on the electromagnetic model was made and satisfactory agreement with experiment is obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intramolecular energy transfer through charge transfer state in lanthanide compounds: a theoretical approach.
TL;DR: A theoretical approach for the intramolecular energy transfer process involving the ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT) state in lanthanide compounds is developed and selection rules show that the direct Coulomb and exchange mechanisms are complementary, in the same way as obtained in previous works for the case of lig and-lanthanide ion energy transfer processes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, luminescence and quantum yields of Eu(III) mixed complexes with 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-phenyl-1,3-butanedione and 1,10-phenanthroline-N-oxide
TL;DR: In this article, the photophysical properties of tris(4,4, 4-trifluoro-1-phenyl-1,3-butanedionate)(1,10-phenanthroline- N -oxide)europium(III) have been investigated down to 4.2
Journal ArticleDOI
White light simulation by up-conversion in fluoride glass host
TL;DR: In this article, a lanthanide-doped fluoride-based glass, named full-color glass, FCG-III, was used to produce white light using infrared excitation by addictive synthesis of red, green and blue upconverted radiation.
