Der Rf-Wert wird ferner durch die Kettenlange und die Lage der Doppel-bindungen beeinflust.

The thinlayer-chromatography with silvernitrate impregnated silicagel has shown to be very appropriate for the separation of molecules, which differ in the number of double bonds and in their configuration (cis, trans). The Rf-value is influenced by the chain length and the position of the double bonds.
