Journal ArticleDOI
A search for μ-e conversion in muonic gold
W. Bertl,R. Engfer,E.A. Hermes,G. Kurz,T. Kozlowski,J. Kuth,G. Otter,F. Rosenbaum,N. M. Ryskulov,A. van der Schaaf,P. Wintz,I. Zychor +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for μ-e conversion in muonic gold performed with the SINDRUM II spectrometer at PSI was reported, which resulted in Γ(μ-Au→e-Aug.s.)/Γcapture(μAu)<7×10-13 (90% C.L.).
Journal ArticleDOI
Search for the Decay mu+ ---> e+ e+ e-
U. Bellgardt,Wilhelm Bertl,E.A. Hermes,L. Felawka,C. Grab,N. Lordong,C. Niebuhr,S. Egli,N. Kraus,H.S. Pruys,J. Martino,R. Eichler,D. Vermeulen,F. Muheim,G. Otter,R. Engfer,A. van der Schaaf,H.K. Walter,Martin Grossmann-Handschin +18 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Test of lepton-flavour conservation in μ → e conversion on titanium☆
C. Dohmen,K.-D. Groth,B. Heer,W. Honecker,G. Otter,B. Steinrücken,P. Wintz,V. Djordjadze,J. Hofmann,T. Kozlowski,S. Playfer,W. Bertl,J. Egger,W. Herold,B. Krause,H. K. Walter,R. Engfer,Ch. Findeisen,M. Grossmann-Handschin,E.A. Hermes,F. Muheim,C. Niebuhr,H.S. Pruys,L. Ricken,D. Vermeulen,A. van der Schaaf +25 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the SINDRUM II spectrometer has been used to perform a search for μ → e conversion in muonic atoms with the assumption of a giant resonance excitation of the Ca nucleaus.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved Limit on the Branching Ratio of μ --> e Conversion on Lead
W. Honecker,C. Dohmen,H. Haan,D. Junker,G. Otter,M. Starlinger,P. Wintz,J. Hofmann,W. Bertl,J. Egger,B. Krause,S. Eggli,R. Engfer,Ch. Findeisen,E.A. Hermes,T. Kozlowski,C. Niebuhr,H.S. Pruys,A. van der Schaaf +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the SINDRUM II spectrometer at Paul Scherrer Institute is used in a search for coherent conversion in muonic atoms, which results in a measurement on lead, which is interpreted in terms of phenomenological couplings between the lepton current and isoscalar and isovector quark currents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved limit on the branching ratio of μ−→e+ conversion on titanium
J. Kaulard,C. Dohmen,H. Haan,W. Honecker,D. Junker,G. Otter,M. Starlinger,P. Wintz,J. Hofmann,W. Bertl,J. Egger,B. Krause,S. Eggli,R. Engfer,Ch. Findeisen,E.A. Hermes,T. Kozlowski,C. Niebuhr,M. Rutsche,H.S. Pruys,A. van der Schaaf +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the SINDRUM II spectrometer at PSI was used in searches for charge-changing μ − → e + conversion on titanium atoms, and the results yielded the new upper limits Γ (μ − Ti → e+ Ca GS )/ Γ( μ − Ti capture) −12 (90% CL).
