Journal ArticleDOI

New qualitative colour reaction for the identification of copper(I) compounds and complexes.

TL;DR: The colour reaction of copper(I) salts and complexes, in sulphuric acid medium, with ferricyanide and ammonia, has been used for the general identification of cuprous compounds and forms the basis of a test for ammonium ion and differentiation between ferrocyanide and fericyanide.
Journal ArticleDOI

1-Allyl-2-tetrazoline-5-thione as a reagent in inorganic qualitative analysis. Micro detection of iodate, iodide, and bismuth(III).

TL;DR: The sodium salt of 1-allyl-2-tetrazoline-5-thione (NaATT-5) is proposed as a new reagent for the detection of IO3−, I−, and Bi(III) ions which is detected by reaction with starch.
