TL;DR: In this paper, the end-effector position of a single flexible-link robot can be directly controlled by the angular position of its joint, so that, trajectory tracking in the end effector of the robot is possible by properly designing a reference trajectory for the joint angle.

Active Vibration Control in a Rotor System by an Active Suspension with Linear Actuators

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of modeling, analysis and unbalance response control of a rotor system with two disks in anasymmetrical configuration is treated, and the Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to get the system model including the gyroscopic effects and then, the obtained model is experimentally validated.
