The ligational behavior of a phenolic quinolyl hydrazone towards copper(II)- ions

TL;DR: The ligational behavior of an isatinic quinolyl hydrazone is checked to check the effect of anion for the same metal ion from either the geometry of the isolated complexes or the various modes of bonding.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cobalt(II) and Copper(II) Complexes with Benzoyl and Salicoyl Hydrazones Derived from β-Diketones

TL;DR: In this paper, cobalt and copper complexes of benzoyl and salicoyl hydrazones derived from β-diketones were synthesized and characterized by elemental and thermal analysis, conductance and ir studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complexation of some hydrazones bearing the quinoline ring: potentiometric studies

TL;DR: In this article, three hydrazones bearing the quinoline moiety were prepared and characterized, and their dissociation constants as well as their stability constants with some transition, lanthanide and actinide metal ions have been investigated potentiometrically in 75% (v/v) dioxane-water at 303K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopic studies on 2-[2-(4-methylquinolin-2-yl)hydrazono]-1,2-diphenylethanone molecule and its metal complexes.

TL;DR: The electronic absorption spectra of a hydrazone derived from 2-hydrazino-4-methylquinoline and 1, 2-diphenylethan-1,2-dione have been studied in various solvents of different polarities and Beer's law is valid in the range 0.32-7.04 microg/mL depending on the type of the metal ion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polarography of metal-gallic complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the polarographic behavior of metal ions in perchlorate media containing gallic acid is described and evidence for complexation of chromium(III, copper(II), iron(III), molybdenum(VI), uranium(VI, vanadium(V), tungsten (VI), praseodymium (III), samarium(III) and gadolinium( III) is summarized.
