TL;DR: In this article, the effect of curcumin and rutin on the etiopathology of experimentally induced periodontitis in diabetic rats was investigated, and the authors concluded that the combined effect of the two antioxidants, single or combined, could reduce the oxidative stress and enhance the antioxidant status in hyperglycemic periodontthritis rats.
