T Cell Response following Anti-COVID-19 BNT162b2 Vaccination Is Maintained against the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron B.1.1.529 Variant of Concern

TL;DR: The data demonstrate stable T cell activity in response to the emerging Omicron variant in the tested individuals; therefore, the protective immunity to the variant following BNT162b2 vaccination is not significantly affected.

A Novel Quantitative Multi-Component Serological Assay for SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine Evaluation

TL;DR: A multi-component microarray, applying a novel analysis algorithm, was developed for quantitative evaluation of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines’ immunogenicity, and specific IgG, IgM, and IgA signals obtained by this array enabled successful discrimination between Sars-Cov-2 q-RT-PCR positive and negative samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

A reversible mutation in a genomic hotspot saves bacterial swarms from extinction

TL;DR: In this article , the authors demonstrate that a hypermutable hotspot within a gene encoding a flagellar unit of Paenibacillus glucanolyticus generated spontaneous non-swarming mutants with increased stress resistance.
