Recycle of Spent Potlining with Low Carbon Grade by Floatation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the floatation of spent potlining (SPL) from Hall-Heroult cells, which is a kind of toxic solid waste with recyclable carbon and electrolyte.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, characterization, and antimicrobial properties of Cu-inorganic antibacterial material containing lanthanum
TL;DR: In this article, a new inorganic antibacterial material, called Cu-antibacterial white carbon black containing lanthanum, was synthesized and the characterization and antimicrobial effect of the material was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of Cr (VI) from aqueous solution using MCM-41
TL;DR: Mesoporous molecular sieves (MCM-41) was successfully synthesized using hydrothermal synthesis and characterized by X-ray diffraction and nitrogen adsorption-desorption as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanism of antibacterial activity of silver and praseodymium-loaded white carbon black
TL;DR: In this paper, the antibacterial mechanism of the Ag-Pr-antibacterial white carbon black was investigated, and the results indicated that this new inorganic antibacterial material had good thermal and light stability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electric heating of the silicon rods in Siemens reactor
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed an electric heating model of silicon rod for the 24-rod Siemens reactor and compared the results with industrial data, showing that the relative error of theoretical calculations are 7.32% and 9.41% for the rods located in the inner ring and outer ring, respectively.
