Communication between the subretinal space and the vitreous cavity in the morning glory syndrome
TL;DR: This case demonstrates that a retinal hole in tissue lying within the optic disc anomaly of the morning glory syndrome provides a communication for fluid between the subretinal space and the vitreous cavity, resulting in a rhegmatogenous retinal detachment.

TL;DR: The cases of 23 patients with untreated cilioretinal artery obstruction were reviewed and two distinct groups were found: 90% of eyes achieved 6/12 or better vision and there was a high incidence of associated atherosclerotic carotid disease.
