Journal ArticleDOI
Differential effects of coronary artery stenosis on myocardial function: the value of myocardial strain analysis for the detection of coronary artery disease.
Sara Shimoni,Gera Gendelman,Oded Ayzenberg,Nahum Smirin,Peter Lysyansky,Peter Lysyansky,Orly Edri,Lisa Deutsch,A. Caspi,Zvi Friedman,Zvi Friedman +10 more
TL;DR: In patients hospitalized with angina who have significant CAD on coronary angiography, longitudinal systolic function is impaired and histogram analysis improved the accuracy of longitudinal strain analysis in detecting global and regional impaired function.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thoracic aortic atherosclerosis in patients with aortic regurgitation.
Sara Shimoni,Liaz Zilberman,Orly Edri,Iris Bar,Sorel Goland,Gera Gendelman,Moshe Swissa,Shay Livshitz,Ofir Paz,Oded Ayzenberg,Jacob George +10 more
TL;DR: There is an increased prevalence of descending aortic atherosclerosis in patients with significant AR, and AR was found to be the only predicting factor for the presence of aortsclerotic lesions in the descend aorta.
Journal ArticleDOI
Accuracy and long-term prognostic value of pacing stress echocardiography compared with dipyridamole tl201 emission computed tomography in patients with a permanent pacemaker and known or suspected coronary artery disease.
Sara Shimoni,Sorel Goland,Shay Livshitz,Alexander Arditi,Oded Ayzenber,Fabio Kusniec,Gera Gendelman,Orly Edri,Gabi Lutati,Rosa Levi,Avraham Caspi,Menashe Epstein +11 more
TL;DR: PASE is a feasible and effective method for detection of significant CAD in patients with permanent-pacemaker and allows effective risk stratification and merits further study in larger prospective comparative studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Using the Gensini score to estimate severity of STEMI, NSTEMI, unstable angina, and anginal syndrome.
Lior Charach,Alex Blatt,Michael Jonas,Nick Teodorovitz,Dan Haberman,Gera Gendelman,Itamar Grosskopf,Itamar Grosskopf,Jacob George,Gideon Charach,Gideon Charach +10 more
TL;DR: Gensini score (GS) provides valuable information on severity and prognosis of coronary artery disease (CAD). as mentioned in this paper evaluated the relationship between the severity of CAD determined by the GS and relation to ST-elevation myocardial infarction, non-ST segment elevation mycardial infarmention (NSTEMI), unstable angina pectoris, chest pain (suspected angina syndrome on admission) and risk-factors for CAD and predictors of severity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Systemic inflammatory markers in elderly patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
Haitham Abu Khadija,Mechael Welt,Gera Gendelman,Ahamd Hamode,Lion Poles,Michael Jonas,Mustafa Jaber,Gal Sella,Omar Ayyad,Sagi Tshori,Alex Blatt,Jacob George +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors found significant kinetic changes in the WBC and their differential cellular subpopulations (P < 0.0001) between admission and early days post-procedure.
