Journal ArticleDOI

Quantum spin dynamics of the antiferromagnetic linear chain in zero and nonzero magnetic field

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a new approach to the spin dynamics of the one-dimensional isotropic Heisenberg antiferromagnetic (HB AF) which does not involve the many-body techniques usually employed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antiferromagnetic long-range order in the anisotropic quantum spin chain

TL;DR: In this paper, the ground state properties of the one-dimensional spin-s (12⩽s <∞) anisotropic XYZ antiferromagnet in a magnetic field of arbitrary direction were studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two-spinon dynamic structure factor of the one-dimensional s= Heisenberg antiferromagnet

TL;DR: In this article, the exact expression derived by Bougourzi, Couture, and Kacir for the two-spinon contribution to the dynamic spin structure factor S(q,\ensuremath{\omega}) of the s = 1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet at T = 0 is evaluated for direct comparison with finite-chain transition rates (N\ensuresuremath{leqslant}28) and an approximate analytical result previously inferred from finite-N data, sum rules, and Bethe ansatz calculations.
