Multiagent Systems : A Modern Approach to Distributed Artificial Intelligence

TL;DR: This is the first comprehensive introduction to multiagent systems and contemporary distributed artificial intelligence and will be a useful reference not only for computer scientists and engineers, but for social scientists and management and organization scientists as well.
Book

Multiagent Systems

Gerhard Weiss
TL;DR: This second edition has been completely revised, capturing the tremendous developments in multiagent systems since the first edition appeared in 1999.
BookDOI

Multi-Agent Systems

TL;DR: A novel transfer learning technique to autonomously construct an inter-task mapping by using a novel combinations of sparse coding, sparse projection learning, and sparse pseudo-input gaussian processes to improve the performance of a learned policy on a fixed number of samples.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Keeping track of position and orientation of moving indoor systems by correlation of range-finder scans

TL;DR: In this paper an algorithm for tracking position and orientation is presented, it is nearly independent from odometry and its problems with slipping, and derivatives of range-finder scans are calculated which can be used to find position and Orientation by crosscorrelation.

Computational Organization Theory

Gerhard Weiss
TL;DR: This chapter contains sections titled: 7.1 Introduction, 7.2 Organizational Concepts Useful in Modeling Organizations, and 7.3 Dynamics.
