Journal ArticleDOI
Soft, stretchable, epidermal sensor with integrated electronics and photochemistry for measuring personal UV exposures.
Yunzhou Shi,Megan Manco,Dominique Moyal,Gil Huppert,Hitoshi Araki,Anthony Banks,Joshi Hemant,Richard McKenzie,Alex Seewald,Guy Griffin,Ellora Sen-Gupta,Donald E. Wright,Philippe Bastien,Florent Valceschini,Sophie Seite,John A. Wright,Roozbeh Ghaffari,John A. Rogers,Guive Balooch,Rafal M. Pielak +19 more
TL;DR: An ultralow modulus, stretchable, skin-mounted UV patch that measures personal UV doses and is compared to existing UV dose risk levels is demonstrated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Epidermal electronics for seamless monitoring of biopotential signals
Mitul Dalal,Conor S. Rafferty,Yung-Yu Hsu,Henry Wei,Kevin Dowling,Briana Morey,Greg Levesque,Gil Huppert,Brian Elolampi,Dan Davis +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a technology platform using ultra-thin components linked with conformal interconnects and embedded in low modulus polymers to provide an excellent match to biological tissues is presented.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Archipelago platform for skin-mounted wearable and stretchable electronics
Yung-Yu Hsu,Cole Papakyrikos,Milan Raj,Mitul Dalal,Pinghung Wei,Xianyan Wang,Gil Huppert,Briana Morey,Roozbeh Ghaffari +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a platform for skin-mounted wearable and stretchable electronics is presented, where the electronic components of the design were distributed between islands connected by stretchable serpentine structures, and the analytical results show that at 20% overall elongation, the serpentines stretch 60% due to the rigidity of the islands.
